Grand day out ....
..... headed over Schehallion way to explore its foothilld: limestone slabs, Dunalastair water, McGregors cave and bsck over moorland. In reading about walk in Cicerone guide I hadn't noticed foothills meant hills and some tough going once high. However we were rewarded with some stunning views - up to Glencoe, Ben Vrakie & Beinn a Ghlo and Schehallion itself.
Didn't meet another soul (although from the amount of cars parked near the start of Schehallion I suspect we would have passed a good few had we headed up that). Did see 3 deer and a hare on drive back.
We stopped off to visit friends of MrT in their new place outside Dull which wasn't boring.
Now enjoying some wine & planning on avoiding Eurovision.
