Memories

My sister and I today attended a school reunion. It is very many years since we left Sutton High School and of course there were very many changes. Some parts were completely unrecognisable but others brought back memories for us. There were five others there from my year and there was a lot of "do you remember?" conversations as we thought about old colleagues and members of staff. Such an enjoyable occupation. Having chatted over a buffet lunch we explored the school, inside and out. The old school was built within Victorian houses, and today we wondered how we endured all the stairs! Now several new blocks and a swimming pool have been built in the grounds.
On our way home I drove us past our childhood home and through the village. Memories for Judith who hasn't been back for a while.
