Beale Arboretum

Edward Beale, who once owned the West Lodge Park hotel in Hertfordshire, collected and planted specimen trees in the grounds, creating the "Beale Arboretum".  When he died,  this memorial was built in his memory and, from here, there is a clear path through the arboretum providing a view to the hotel building.

The memorial also appears in the background of a model shoot which I took part in last autumn.
