Reflective

Super day spent canoeing down the river Earn from Forteviot to Newburgh. The first part was particularly lovely as the river was gently meandering and the weather was calm and sunny enough to require sun cream. Loads of wildlife including kingfishers and beavers and about a dozen roe deer. A brief stop off at Bridge of Earn for the obligatory tearoom and then a push on to Newburgh. The last few km, where the Earn joined the Tay, we were battling a headwind and it became quite choppy and a little bit scary. My extra is me looking pleased to have finished /survived. We were canoeing for about 7 hours - my arms are going to be so sore tomorrow!
