Summer Visitor

I spent the day with Becky and 5 of her friends for an early birthday gathering.  Her birthday is the 21st but this was the day everyone could make it, and it's never too early to start celebrating!  We painted pottery in the morning and then went out for lunch.  It was fun meeting a couple of her friends that I didn't know.

It was probably a good photo op but I was so busy painting that I didn't get my camera out.  So I drove around a while looking for a silly blip but I wasn't inspired.  Then I met this Killdeer in a parking lot and s/he was kind enough to pose for my blip today. :-)

I am always grateful for the days that I spend with my daughter!
