Fraser Island day 1

Something a bit different to our usual hostel hopping - we organised a group tag along tour through Nomads staying on Fraser Island (the largest sand island in the world) with our guide called "Bazza". It was for 3 days and involved driving a 4x4 jeep driving on the sand, which was a very bumpy but fun/scary experience and also sleeping in a tipi! We had an amazing group in our car number 2  with the road trip songs (some german rap!) and despite the weather (it rained for 2/3 days) we enjoyed ourselves. 
After driving in our coach from Noosa we got a little ferry over to Fraser Island and once we got settled in we drove to Lake mackenzie. It's a beautiful, white sand, crystal clear, rainwater lake where we had a swim in.
