Going Back

On January 2nd 1970 as I sat inside this building and “Signed On” into the Royal Navy for twelve years I never imagined that forty-eight years later I would be retired, having lived the life I have been lucky enough to have and back here working for my son-in-law I wouldn’t have believed it.
Yet here I am.
Feeling useful and helping out (being paid), afterwards coffee with Sarah and Luis before heading home to an RNA evening meeting and an early night.
