Greek Doric - lots of it
The Royal Scottish Academy frontage from the side, originally designed by the illustrious William Playfair 1822-36 in two phases for the less illustrious Board of Manufactures and Fisheries, and then at the North (left hand side) expanded by the final third rank of columns in 1844 to be crowned with Queen Victoria (with her robes in the to become fashionable general idea of Britannia).
The Academy took occupancy in 1909-11 within the re-organisation of Scottish Art Institutions and public works that included building the New Edinburgh College of Art.
