Worn

A day doing some jobs at home and taking my first walk with Merlin - just a very short one at this stage.  He did well and enjoyed all the smells in the hedgerow and didn't pull on the lead too badly.   Later I pruned the hedge in the garden but by late afternoon the rain arrived so I retreated indoors to read and do the crossword and rest. I've passed my virus onto Andy so he spent the day in bed.

This is the interior of church in the village.  I especially liked the light on the worn flag stones and the stained glass beyond.
