Parade Day

Here's my tap dance teacher, Sue, in the St. Johns Parade. She was one of the Grand Marshalls.
This was the 56th year of the parade, one that features everything from locals with dressed up dogs to the Rose Festival Princesses and Portland's Mayor.
Eric's After School Marching Band marched in the parade for 21 years beginnng in 1990. Every year it was kids from kindergarten through fifth grade playing Thelonious Monk's "Blue Monk." This was the first year we didn't see any former students in high school bands; the end of an era.
