Mother’s Day

Today I’ve dedicated my whole day to my mother. I spend a lot of time with her usually, but today it was special. In the morning we went for a walk (I walked and pushed her wheelchair, in fact) and we visited two markets and then we went to see the ducks on the river. We saw a lot of nutrias as well as ducks and mum enjoyed it!
Then, we took the car and drove to Chianti for lunch. We stopped at a lovely restaurant near Castellina in Chianti and we had a lovely lunch on their terrace. We were the only customers... so lucky to have all this attention! The lunch was scrumptious!
Then, we went to Radda for another “walk” and this is the view you can see from there, towards Volpaia, the small village on the hill opposite. Between, there are just vineyards! We met a couple from Ohio and had a lovely chat! They are here for three weeks, so they asked us where they should go. Well, the list is loooooooong!
Back home now. Mum is exhausted, but happy. :-)
