a day at the races

Playing with Samba Sisters today at Carlisle racecourse, venue for the 4th Colour Run in aid of the Eden Valley Hospice. Always a fun family event, with people (and dogs) of all ages running/walking/being pushed around, throwing coloured powder over each other and making their way through a river of foam...

We played for an hour and a half and I think I have caught the sun, especially as it was being reflected up from the foam.

Thirsty work, too!
