Too much

Too much is happening all at once. In two days we have achieved some monumental "firsts" with little one. She's a stubborn little thing and has for 3 years refused to go near a shower (including at the swimming pool...yet doesn't mind getting soaked swimming) and has also had a hatred for all hairdryers. So has been going to bed with wet hair whenever it's been washed. 

Since Thursday we have now had her enjoying a shower so much it's been hard to get her out, and she has let me use a hairdryer on her twice! My mind is blown. Quite boring but really helpful things from a mum perspective!

Today we also bought her a full single bed. We need to reclaim her cot bed into a cot for the baby coming. It's such a big bed! But she is big now too and deserves it. Had a wee gasp and a lump in my throat as I put her to bed tonight.

And it's also only 8 weeks (approx obvs) til the next baby comes! This suddenly seems very soon and I'm aware I've probably greatly overdone it in the last few weeks. I need to stop a bit. But it's so hard, especially when the sun is out! 

Managed to get some gardening done tonight which has been on my list for a while. Some pots filled. Little one "helped" me buy the plants earlier. Hindrance more than help but I suppose we had fun.

Back to work tomorrow - boooooo.

Oh wait, only 6 weeks left!
