Gleneagles' pond

What a lovely day it was today, blue sky with great puffy clouds and everything is breaking out in leaves and/or blossoms. My feet and knee are not up to long walks but I did manage a walking tour around the hotel grounds with DJ and captured this vision of a pond !

Of course it being Sunday I also needed to look at all the Abstract Thursday entries, but I was rather distracted by knowing that one of the regulars of Abstract Thursday, Chrisphoto has died very suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday. This sad news was posted in Blipfoto Friends on Facebook yesterday and today Chris's family have posted the last two entries in his journal .Chris did post his entry for this Abstract Thursday, in fact he did enter almost all of the challenges and was very active commenting, he will most certainly be missed on Blipfoto. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

It's hard to then continue to Abstract Thursday business as usual, but I know you're waiting for the results.

Here's the list of 5 special entries this past week:
richardg   for a beautiful minimalist seascape abstract
ValC          for a very natural petals and shadows abstract
carolinav  for shadows turning into geometrical shapes
evolybab  for seeing and capturing the intricate shadows of a swing
MaryElizaR for a marina mono abstract with rippling shadows

Thanks so much to all who have entered ! This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'distortion' and the tag will be AT151.

Thanks so much for all your kind comments and stars for yesterday's landscape from the road !
