Well It Was A Celebration Weekend After All..

An early start as myself and 3 friends set off in our hired motorhome down to Chatsworth House for the annual Horse Trials for the weekend.

Once we had set up in the onsite camp site we headed off on our bikes (inspired idea by Katie that saved us an awful lot of walking) to the main arenas. Today was predominantly dressage and showjumping. We met up with some more friends who were down for the day to crack open a bottle of Prosecco...well it was a celebration weekend after all.

Our tickets included access to the rather posh members enclosure so we enjoyed most of the afternoon there watching the showjumping, after just a small amount of shopping!

None of us having ever stayed in a motor home before made for an interesting hour or so trying to get everything to work but we managed it in the end and enjoyed a very pleasant evening of Pimm’s, chat and Home made spaghetti bolognese.
