Heron yoga

A beautiful day for a long ferry to Galiano island....seemed a long day too as the dock cart was broken so we made more trips slowly carrying our carfull quite a ways....then the motor wouldn’t start..the batteries were dead ( left on by the boat yard folks who came to get it for some work in the month we were gone...but hark, H’s battery charger he carries fixed that and the block of wood and mallet he carries unstuck the shaft that was left in the wrong position... it does pay to be a maintenance guy and think of everything!) The golf cart worked and we are happily settled with a full larder and sunshine predicted. The blip was taken on the Montague Marina dock.. I kept making trips carrying stuff while this heron was doing its yoga(?) on the float plane dock and finally had to take a photo with the phone. Looks like a wee plane coming in above but it’s a bird. ....

It’s very quiet ..... good for unstressing.... ahhhh.... our neighbor two weeks ago wrote he was convinced there was a bear on the island (!)so we are keeping our eyes peeled ....so far No bear.( but it might be a good blip!)
