Leaves in a Puddle
After several days of dark clouds, heavy rain, and strong winds, there was a welcome break in the weather today, just in time for my weekly pétanque game at Cornwall Park. We had a little sunshine added as a bonus.
During the half-time break, I grabbed a few photos. One of them, of maple leaves in a puddle, looked too busy when I looked at in iPhoto. It wasn't until I tried cropping it that I noticed the menisci (plural of meniscus ) around the leaves.
My first crop concentrated on the menisci. Cynthia thought I should include more of the reflections of tree branches. You can see the original photo, and three cropped versions (including the blip) here.
