The accompanying image to appear soon in a Blip journal near you. All the dead palm fronds and rosemary bushes have been replaced with these vibrant little pepper plants, dozens of them.

My long day today, a sixteen hour one. Somehow felt the need to begin this little project, as if I didn't have enough to write already. By the end of day one, I'm about 500 words under the necessary pace to reach 50,000 but not bad for starting my novel at 10:30, about an hour and a half before the end of day one. Have some ground to cover tomorrow. Do have some errands in the morning: haircut, car maintenance, fish food; and we do leave for Austin tomorrow night as well, but I should still have some time to crank things out between all of this....I hope.

Finally, a huge and heartfelt thanks for all the attention for yesterday's Halloween big baby SP. The love: all those favorites and honors meant a lot and thanks for letting encouraging me to be stupid and silly.
