We Bagged Ourselves Ringside Seats

After a cozy night in the mobile camper van, we awoke to blue skies and Katie cooking sausage sandwiches for breakfast.

It was a morning of dressage and we bagged ourselves ringside seats. As well as the big guns, here the amazing William Fox-Pitt, there were some local heroes such as Ben Hobday who in 2015 at the age of 26 fought cancer and returned to top level competition the following year.

We later took an afternoon picnic to the cross country course and sat for a few hours to enjoy the last of the days competition.

We finished the evening with a short walk across the fields for dinner at a local pub, The Devonshire Arms. It was a fab evening with delicious food and great company.
