New knit.

Can't actually believe it's November already! Went out birthday present shopping with Mum and Matthew, which is nice cause I chose exactly what I want, but then it's not a surprise :( Although if I hide it I could probably forget I have it in 10 days time, if I can resist the temptation of cosy fleece pyjamas for that long.

Because Alastair's jumper is SO boring to knit, I like to have a small project to do in between, this is a hat, with a far more interesting cable pattern and far more interesting wool!

What age will I be turning in 10 days time? I'm thinking 80.
