In the pink

I chose the title because I am feel in much happier today, thank you all for your kind words of encouragement, they helped a lot, you are all lovely people :-))
We have beautiful sun, so I fortified myself with a bowl of steaming porridge, wrapped up warm and went for a nice breath of chilly air, the outside thermometer told me it was a balmy 5 degrees! Tried to go across the fields but it was more like a bog so I suck to the lanes instead. I got some nice sunny photos of trees, shadows and apples still on the tree but decided to go with this beautiful rose, well I think it's a rose, it was in the hedgerow but may have escaped from a nearby garden on a sucker. I thought it was just lovely and in beautiful condition considering how cold it has been - one tough plant :-)
