Brayford Water Sculpture

This decided to spontaneously publish itself before I had chance to add my spiel! Trying to tell me something maybe...

Well anyway, after a thrilling morning doing housework, I decided to take a walk into town to pick up a few things we needed to get. It is a lovely bright, warm afternoon, so I also had a wander to the Brayford to look for something to blip. I thought the water sculpture/clock looked quite effective against the blue sky. 

The top bit rotates once an hour, and the bowls fill with water, releasing it in a cascade on the hour, causing chimes to sound.I think (but I can't be sure...) that it acts as a sundial also.
