Historic wedding dresses

Another trip out today, although the weather was not as good as yesterday......blue sky one minute, sea mist the next! Oh and Mary & Maureen seemed to lose their way en route from the Supermarket ;-) see extras!

Hub didnt sleep well so we were a bit late hitting the road, but made it to Southport for 11.30. First stop the pier for a coffee, then a walk before lunch.

We headed to one of our favs, Wayfarers Arcade, which is bedecked with union jack bunting in readiness for the forth coming Royal Wedding. There was an interesting display of old historic wedding dresses!

After lunch another walk, a quick stop for a swift half in the smallest pub ;-) efore heading back to the car.

Another 14,000 steps under our belt, hub did pretty well, his heel decided to,give him some stick today, makes a change from his knee ;-)

Off to nightschool shortly, hub is going to see daughter and Emily for a couple of hours :-)
