Potting seeds

Another stage of the tree planting process is transferring the tiny seedlings to tubes.
These ladies are learning the procedure in the lands of the bishops residence.
Our horticultural operation in Lusangazi is in imminent danger of being wiped our by a Presidential order.
He has decided to build part of his new airport in our orchards, thus demolishing all our buildings, greenhouses and our orchards which are being developed since 2006.
The good news is that we were welcomed by Bishop John Ryan to work from his 180 acre plot in the city.
We have already established about 4 hectares of forestry , with pines, blue gums, mango, apples and other stuff.
Here we have just begun a training programme inviting people from all over the Diocese to come and learn from our guys.
The diocese has about 700000people, 1000 outreach churches and over 1000 schools.
We are hoping that these 1000 centres can plant 1000 trees. The maths calculation is simple so I'll leave it to yourselves.
This is in no way an easy project, but we are going to give it a go.
