Birthday Present

My brother gave me a clamp to hold my mobile phone (much better than my existing one) and as I already had a mini Joby tripod I decided to play.  This viewpoint was definitely a struggle as I seem to have done something to my right knee, so getting down to this level was quite a problem.

We’ve also been to Howick Hall gardens for my birthday treat, so I spent an hour trying to get a flower photo that was a bit more special (I’m not sure I succeeded today) and it had to be in the shade of the woodland as the mid-day sun was so bright.  The rest of our time there was spent on a leisurely lunch (slow because the waitresses were hard pressed to cope) and a sit in the sunshine in front of the house.
