I spotted these little fellas growing on the river bank this morning.  I haven't seen them in previous years so I think they've been planted by the family of the brothers honoured by the nearby bench.  

I nipped down town to get some bits and pieces.  I came back with a ridiculous amount of stuff not on the list including a cardigan, lunch boxes, dog pooh bags (essentials), fabric (why?), Baskets (why?), And a pomegranate.  

I should not be allowed out on my own.
