Looking into a Fractal Breadscape

Today I baked sourdough bread for the first time in months. I'd fed the original culture a few days ago and after months of dormancy it sprang back to life. Yesterday I made the starter, so today baking was compulsory, despite the sweltering hot weather!  But it was worth being a little overly warm for the three loaves of soft, crispy crusted bread! (see extra).
The split down the middle of one of the loaves interestingly seemed to descend into the depths of the loaf!
