C happily trundled her suitcase down to school this morning ready for her trip to York to learn more about the Romans, and this afternoon, to enjoy a river cruise along the Ouse.

I had an extra long day to myself with just a plan of a cuppa with a friend this aft. My hour of sewing whilst the washing machine finished turned into a morning of stiching and a completed dress. The cup of tea became a walk and a swim at Goit Stock, just right on this gorgeous afternoon. More days like this required!
