Paper Wasp Pulling Wood Fibers

I noticed three wasps on the side of one of our planters.
I'm a bit squeamish about wasps having been stung multiple times in the past.
Still, these wasps were up to something on the sun bleached, food free, side of my planter.
Slowly, I reached out with my camera to put my lens where I wasn't brave enough to put my eyes.
Ahhhh... Ha!  These wasps were harvesting wood fibers for their nest!
