Lady’s Slipper Orchids

First one to flower this year. This one is in a pot and was generously given to us by Eddie.

It is Cypripedium “Emil” which is a cross between Calceolus ( which is the native English one) and Parviflora.

The reintroduced Calceolus plants at Gait Barrows NNR should be available for viewing in early June depending on the weather. Check on the website before you go.
