The Ditch

The Ditch is what we fondly refer to the Tasman Sea which is the sea between Australia's lower East Coast and New Zealand.  I suppose that is a bit cheeky as it is more a view looking across Merewether, Dixon Park and to Bar Beach rather than directly out to sea.

Although there were quite a few clouds around earlier in the afternoon we had relatively gusty winds which blew them all away by sunset.  Thanks again Bob for your continued hosting of Wide Wednesdays.

And so to yesterday's mystery macro.  It was of course my coat thinner for Hamish and Poppy (see extra).  Poppy doesn't really need it but Hamish has a thick undercoat that needs thinning out every few months or so.  Those blades do the job.   Madwill was first in with dog grooming comb and so was awarded a heart but many of you guessed it was comb, clipper, shredder or dog thingy which were all close.  Thanks for all your guesses and now I am going to see if other answers are put up to those that stumped me.
