Watercolour workshop

Today I went to an art workshop which was painting with watercolour and was taken by a professional artist. We painted onions, garlic, tomatoes and some artificial flowers.  

It was enjoyable but I didn't find it inspirational like the last one that I attended.  I go with three friends so while we're there we have a good chat and swap ideas.

It's the 75th anniversary of the successful Dambusters Raid in WW2 .  My uncle was mid upper gunner in a Lancaster bomber and their squadron was used as a decoy aircraft to draw the German aircraft away from the dams to make it easier for the bombing.  They were all very brave but bravery and actions of the decoys is never mentioned.
