Feed me! Take 2!!

After a week of noisy Starling fledgings squabbling in the garden, fighting over the bird feeders, a family of young Sparrows have now joined in the fray, though their chirruping is a much sweeter sound. This fluffed up little fellow was chirping away, fluttering his wings for all he was worth. I always thought it was only young birds that did this when they were begging for food, but this little Sparrow looks like an adult to me. Of course, I may be wrong...

A much cooler day, a drop of ten degrees from yesterday, but hopefully only a temporary blip in the weather. Not that the cooler weather mattered today, for me a day of catching up on paperwork, and taking long distance bird photos, so don’t look too closely!
