Geyser
The highest cold water geyser in the world is located in Andernach in the volcanic Eifel. Every two hours this geyser sprays an impressive fountain that can reach up to 60 meters.
The origin of the geyser comes from the volcanic coke gas that finds its way up from a depth of 4000 meters from the interior of the earth. The geyser is located on the Namedyer Werht peninsula which is a unique nature reserve.
The first delusion goes back to 1900 when gas bubbling gas bubbles discovered in a dead arm of the Rhine.
