Mid Devon

My husband and I receed the second part of the Devon Heartland Way today from Sampford Courtney to North Tawton today. It was gently raining most of the walk. The signage was poor to non existent so it was easy to go wrong. I will be leading this walk in mid July. We strayed onto a lady’s driveway and she said we were the first walkers she had seen in her 30 years living there. She escorted us off her land although we did point out the route on a map but she had never heard of it. This was a building we passed on the way.
