Central and a West Lothian

Once I eventually got to the office - double the normal journey time for some reason - it was up to Stirling for a meeting of the digital oversight committee. This brings together our Biard and that of SCRA to seek assurances in the programme and management of our digital developments. So far so god.

Back to Edinburgh to the office then off in late afternoon to Larbert. This was a joint session with panel members, social workers and reporters. We were focussing on the complex decisions and issues to be considered when contact arrangements are discussed deciding who a child sees and for how long. Also when should information not be disclosed and the test to be applied.

Lots of sharing of approaches and understanding. A productive and constructive couple of hours.

On my way back to Edinburgh (again) this time I took the route passed the Kelpies. This was the 4th time I’d seen them today but the only occasion when I could safely park and capture them. Now back home to get the WiFi and see today’s building developments just before the light fades.
