Scent of Summer

Pity the wind today had a feel of winter about it!

The first Sweet Peas of the year, from seed sown last autumn and overwintered in a large pot.   Despite the cold they still smell wonderful and in truth some cooler weather now will help the January sown plants get better established in the garden before hopefully providing flowers through until early autumn this year.

A busy day preparing for Mum's arrival this afternoon plus another hospital appointment with Jacinta. Homemade pizza for tea before Alpine Garden Society Norfolk Group meeting tonight where we enjoyed an excellent lecture from Rob Potterton of Potterton's Nursery.
