Te Awa [the river]

Fresh running river,
Amongst the North Island hills,
The essence of life.


We are travelling by train to Palmerston North to have a reunion of a group of upstanding fellows who did the Diploma in Sheep Farming at Massey University  50 years ago. Lovely to see such a fresh clear river as ,sadly, over use of nitrogen fertilizers in some parts is causing a lot of pollution.
