Greens.....and Browns!

Bb made bacon sandwiches for breakfast for the guests this morning and they could help themselves from the breakfast goodies from the fridge, instead of the usual laid-out buffet.   

The two of us then wandered out into Eixample and the colours on this little vegetarian restaurant caught my eye. We had a late lunch in Els Barrils on Aribau with Mallorca - am noting the address  here as every time we go to this restaurant we remember roughly where it is, but have to wander up and down and roundabout to find it!   We like it as it's traditional, family run and importantly, the kitchen doesn't close after the typical lunch hour.   Baked artichokes to start for us both, then Bb had rabbit and I had chicken. A laugh afterwards as I said to Bb we should pop into a garden centre.  'Which one?', he asked.  'Any one', was my reply!   Bought a plant for the root terrace and are going to have another attempt at a bougainvillea, which we normally don't have much luck with and are going to try it in a sunny corner of our patio.  It will no doubt appear in a blip soon!    An early night followed, after watching the tv series 'Prey'.  Neither of us could decide if we'd enjoyed it or not.  Enough to watch all 3 episodes though!
