Late night libations
His shirt one of the shirts his wife had so considerately packed for him to bring into the hospital detox and hang on hangers that won’t leave the rod.
Quite a day. My two 90-minute sessions went well enough. The second one was quite busy.
I get some free business mentoring from Kate in the Barbican Kitchen before heading back to the hotel. A posse of us walk 100m to Ceviche, where we drink Pisco Sour and eat a delightful selection of exotic foods, while being deafened by rock concert quantities of ambient noise.
From there, it’s a short stroll to relative calm of The Three Castles and a couple of hydrating pints. Which lead inevitably to a night cap in the hotel bar. I don’t know where Simon had been all evening, but judging by his shirt he was probably hiding in plain sight.
