Old and New

Busy work day so took the children and pup out for a walk when we all got home, Josh wanted to go to Callendar Park because he loves to run about the woods, Ky was happy to come as long as we didn't go near the Mausoleum. She has been watching The Woman in Black in English class (I don't know why they can't just read the book!), it's the only film she has ever come home from the cinema and said she never wanted to see again and it's the film she's having to watch at school! She was ok as I didn't really know when it would get dark so didn't fancy being up in the woods as the light disappeared so we stayed to the main paths in the open. Josh still managed to run about like daft - it always amazes me how fast and agile he is in wellies, and the pup had lots of fun even if she did get very muddy. Someone even commented on how laid back she is. This was compared to a mad terrier who was barking and straining on his lead to get to her and as usual she had no interest in a smaller dog and just ignored it!
I've taken lots of pictures of the house before but this one include one of the tower blocks that sit beside it, in the park.
Friday night, dinner on, wine warming and looking forward to putting my feet up and curling up with a book. Have a lovely weekend ;0)
