Kilnave Chapel

Enjoying the view from the East window of the ruined Kilnave chapel over Loch Gruinart towards the Paps of Jura on a calm, sunny day, one could be forgiven for ignoring its history of bloody clan warfare.
We followed this with a visit to Kilchoman churchyard for another impressive cross while a flock of Chough wheeled overhead - our first sighting of these elusive corvids.
