Photographic Poeticisms

Pink Mountains

Pink mountains
Silver moon
Winter's ice
Here too soon
Icy nip
Fills the air
Slippery paths
Walkers beware
Sunshine's dawn
Across the hills
Wrapped warm
Against the chills
Promise of rain
In tall cloud
Lightning flash
Thunder loud
Heavy showers
Of marble hail
Panicked footsteps
Leave white trail
Running feet
Shelter finds
Overhang, doorway
No-one minds
So it ends
As it starts
Hail stops
Cloud departs
On tail of storm
Sun rises bright
Soaked commuters
To offices fight
Now silver moon
Slips from view
Until tonight
It bids adieu
