New Orleans street poetry

The son of our good friends started a 'poetry cafe' with some mates a few years ago, offering take-away poems to customers. It seems the idea has spread to New Orleans. This guy, thinking hard about his next line, was bashing out his craft on an old typewriter alongside three other rhymesters in a closed-off section of Royal Street, in the middle of the French Quarter.
