It’s dry!

It must be really dry out there at the moment because I have never seen the Wattle Birds in such large numbers and they’re thirsty. This beautiful group of four were having a whale of a time and kept taking it in turns to have a dip in the bowls. Usually I only see them flittin in and out of the Banksia Bushes.

Yesterday I bit the bullet and decided with a “Big 70” looming I would buy myself a present. On good advice from three of my blip heroes I have decided to invest in a SonyDSC RX10 iv. If you browse the tag #rainiesony you will see some compelling reasons why I think it’s a good idea. rainie is one of my blip buddies that never ceases to inspire me and if I could end up with images half as good as hers I’d be a VERY happy Wombat :).

I have to hit the hay early tonight because tomorrow I’m going to the “Wedding of the Year”. Well not really, but we will be glued to the Tele tomorrow night. Let’s hope it all goes off without a hitch and they both live happily ever after. No secret that I have a soft spot for the Royal family.
