First year

These large allium are increasingly popular and they seem to in every garden I visit, so I bought the bulbs in the autumn and then forgot about them. It was a lovely surprise when they appeared. One looked very forlorn having provided a tasty meal for some unfriendly bug, but the rest are splendid. I'm hoping they multiply.
A good gardening day with a perfect temperature and I tackled the weeds around the alliums. The weeds have enjoyed the recent wet/sun weather.
