Dominic and the Measuring tape

Today's the day ............................... to calculate

Remember I told you yesterday about the earthworks going on at present in our front garden?  Well today, Will had a little helper.

Dominic found this (ancient) Fisher-Price  tape measure in the toy box.  He spent a few minutes working out what it was - and then he set off down the garden with a determined look in his eye.  Maybe he had seen his Dad doing the same thing, but what he wanted to do was 'measure' the planks of wood that Will was using as a bridge over his newly placed setts.

Must be something in the genes ........................
