Little Brown Job

A glorious spring morning, full of sunshine and the smell of freshly mown grass. Not so nice now as it has clouded over and looks a bit like a thunderstorm coming. Seems to be the season.
I spent some time down at Scranton Flats looking for birds, and was not disappointed. Lots of tree swallows around, gorgeous little things with their sparkly blue sheen, obviously making good use of the nesting boxes scattered along the rivers edge. I settled for posting a new species, this song sparrow - at least I am pretty sure that is what it is, there are so many "little brown jobs" to choose from!! At least it's voice fits the name - beautiful.
