Hills and Glens

Blue skies and sunshine all the way to Oban today where he had headed for our big shopping , normal weekly food and some more Christmas presents and groceries.

off course I would never dream of visiting Oban without a trip into the various shoe shops there. Three shops and I came away with a pair of gorgeous red ankle boots, very dressy as well as comfortable - not often you get both. So that's me set up for our trip to Luxembourg next week.

As always atrip to Oban ainvolves the usual stop above Kilchurn castle, today the light and Autumn colours beckoned me. I was wishing I had followed my own advice and remebered to put a pair of welly boots in the car as I reckoned the best shots were from the shoreline itself looking across the glens to the snow topped hills.. Still I was quite plwaswd with this view, will definitely be back there when there is more snow around. Only half an hour's drivefrom our house so not a major trek.

Large might be worth a peek , i reckon it makes you want to wander down the path to the shore if you look at the large version.
