Deep South

Spotted this pair as I was driving by in DC today and just had to screech to a halt.

Her name is Ruth and her dog's is Roscoe; he's a mastiff and four years old (and as big as a pony...). Ruth, who's originally from Alabama, had the most delightful 'Southern Belle' accent -- rich and luscious and hypnotic -- even though she's lived in that neighborhood of DC "for years, my dear."

Lovely lady who cut a wonderful figure strolling down the road with that massive dog.
